RRC Top scorers list

First part of 2014-15 RRC season is over. After the six matches played, on the top of RRC list of scorers there are some old and some new names. This is not even half way till the end of the season, so race is still wide open.

On the top two spots there are some well known contesters for top scorer’s title – Sabahudin Subašić (RK Čelik; 25 points: 1 try, 7 conversions and 2 penalty kicks) and Luka Lerotić (RK Nada; 22 points – 2 tries, 3 conversions, 1 penalty kick and 1 drop goal). Following them there is Fadil Spahić from RK Čelik with 21 points (3 tries and 3 conversions) and previous leaders Uroš Babic (RK Pobednik MOZZART) and László Janotka (Magyarok). Uroš scored his points by one try and six successful conversions, and László scored all his points by foot (one successful conversion and five successful penalty kicks).

RRC Top scorers list

After the first three matches played in this RRC season, one in group A and two in group B, on the list of top scorers we notice the first candidates for this season’s title of RRC Top scorer. Last year’s winner Nick Jurišić now plays in Scotland and the race for his successor is on.

During this RRC season 15 matches will be played, and after the first fifth of the season, status on a RRC top scorers table is as follows… First place with 17 points share Uroš Babic (RK Pobednik MOZZART) and László Janotka (Magyarok). Uroš scored his points by one try and six successful conversions, and László scored all his points by foot (one successful conversion and five successful penalty kicks). Two players from RK Pobednik MOZZART (Isailović and Radulovic) scored two tries and occupy third and fourth places. They are followed by fifteen players who have achieved one try each led by Spahic from RK Čelik, who added one successful conversion to his try.

Announcement of 2014/2015 RRC seasson

RRC 2014/15 Season Pools and Fixtures

RRC Board finaly defined the format of the competition for the 2014/15 RRC season. The decision was made based on last season’s results of clubs in RRC, the list of teams who have signed up for the 2014/15 RRC season and the desire to maintain and upscale the existing level and quality of the competition. Format of the competition will remain similar to the previous RRC seasons, but with participation of six teams. By decision of RRC Board in season 2014/15 we will have two pools each consisting of three teams and after first part of pool stage during autumn 2014, second part of pool stage and play-offs will be in spring of 2015. Play-offs will consist of semi finals and grand final on 16th May 2015.
