Two matches left in RRC 2012/13 Season
RRC 2012/13 Season is almost over, but the most interesting part is jet to come. With one semi final and the RRC Final match left, we have only three clubs left in the competition. Players from RK Zagreb, RK Nada Split and RK Pobednik MOZZART Belgrade will have chance to upset Nik Jurišić who is still leading on the official RRC Top Scorers List.
By winning two matches in a row, against RK Čelik Zenica and HARK Mladost Zagreb, RK Zagreb has, for the first time in the history of RRC, qualified for the RRC Finals. The other RRC finalist will be winner from the RRC semi final match between RK Nada Split and RK Pobednik MOZZART Belgrade that will take place on 04.05.2013 in Split, Croatia. Winner of that semi final match will also host the RRC final match on 08.06.2013.
Quarterfinal and semi final matches that took place in Zagreb and Belgrade brought us a lot of good rugby and some significant changes on RRC Top Scorers List. Although Nik Jurišić is still holding firmly top position with 61 points scored (3 tries, 14 conversions and 6 penalties) his club, HARK Mladost Zagreb, is out of this season’s RRC competition and he can just wait if someone will manage to score enough points to overthrow him from the throne. Orlović (44 points) and Kapor (32) from RK Pobednik MOZZART Belgrade, Mijić (33) from RK Zagreb and Rosso (28) from RK Nada Split are still in the game, and with one or two matches left for each of them they have big chance to win this season’s RRC Best Scorer title.
