Final RRC match in Split
Rugby Club Nada won six consecutive RRC title. In this RRC final match RK Nada was the far better team. They outscored RK Zagreb by 57-0.
RK Nada started furiously and that resulted with two converted tries and the early lead of 14-0. By the end of the first half the result went to 33-0 with another three tries by RK Nada. The second half was similar as the first one. RK Zagreb was trying to return to the game through experienced Mandić and Jureško, but RK Nada defended all their attacks. That was the key for the victory and another trophy.
After the match, the RRC Competition Commissioner, Denis Veličković handed a RRC 2012/13 Champions trophy to RK Nada captain Mate Borozan. Dario Jurčević, RK Nada flanker, was declared as the RRC Finals Man of the Match, and Nik Jurišić, HARK Mladost fly half, received the RRC 2012/13 Top Scorer Trophy.
There were over 1000 spectators on the stands of RK Nada’s “Stari Plac” stadium. During the half time popular Nadalina Cheerleades raised the crowd to its feet with performance of planetary hit Gangnam Style. After the RRC Final match members of the RK Nada Rugby School played a tournament which was the start of the celebration party long into the night…
